We hope to make everyone welcome at Duart, but if you have any special requests or requirements, do telephone before your visit. Our number is 01680 812309. We will do our best to help in anyway we can.

Duart has a straight flight of steps from outside into the courtyard, with wooden handrails.

The courtyard has a paved path and the entrance to the ground floor has one low step.

To avoid the spiral stairs to the next floor you can return to the courtyard and use the exit steps, again with a wooden handrail. This leads to the main floor of the Castle and we have a video of the remaining tour in the Banqueting Hall.

Outside cars can be driven straight to the castle or tea-room, to drop off passengers who find the walk from the car park difficult.
